One church. One people. One purpose.
We are a coalition of clergy and community leaders serving Pasadena,
Altadena, and Sierra Madre for over twenty years.
Rooted Here. Working Together.
Across Pasadena, Altadena, and Sierra Madre, clergy and community leaders are working across denominations and faith traditions toward one goal: the flourishing of Greater Pasadena. What began with a small group of Pasadena pastors gathering to pray for their city in the early 2000s now connects more than 100 faith communities and 80 partner organizations.
Greater Pasadena carries deep inequities in housing, education, public safety, and belonging. We respond through a ministry of presence: we show up consistently, and we build relationships before programs.
Strong Leaders For
Strong Communities
We gather, develop, and mobilize clergy and community leaders for the flourishing of Greater Pasadena.
That mission takes shape through monthly gatherings that build trust across sectors, pastoral care that supports the leaders who carry this work, and coordinated advocacy on the issues shaping our neighbors' lives.
IN THEIR WORDS
What Leaders Are Saying
Our Church certainly can’t do it alone.
The CCC connects me to leaders and other congregations in this community that are working and praying together for the healing
and transformation of our community.
That is why I participate in the CCC.
The CCC is about pursuing a thriving Pasadena for all its citizens. This diverse, committed group of Christian pastors and leaders, and their communities, seeks to hear the needs, engage
the issues, and serve with civic and community leaders in Pasadena to make that thriving
hope real.
The CCC helps me feel like I belong.
Ministry can be lonely, but to be able
to fellowship with other pastors who care
equally about their church and their
community, I know I’m with my people.
I am thankful for the heart of this org consistently showing up for the shalom
of our city.
